The primary care for acutely brain-injured persons in British Columbia is in a major hospital such as Vancouver General, or a regional hospital such as those in Kelowna, Prince George or Victoria. After stabilization and initial treatment, rehabilitation will continue in a hospital or hospital-like setting before the return to the community. |
